Photo to Wallpaper Maker

Turn your own photo — a trip, a person, a pet, a screenshot — into a wallpaper cut exactly for your phone's screen. Drop it in, drag it into place, zoom, and download. 100% private: everything happens in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded to any server — there is nothing to upload to.

JPG, PNG, WebP — straight from your camera roll or computer. It stays on your device.

How to make a wallpaper from your photo

1. Tap the box above and pick any photo — or drag and drop it in.
2. Pick your phone's size. Not sure? The DailyWallPix size (1152 × 2048) fits almost every modern phone.
3. Drag the photo inside the phone frame until the important part sits where you want it, and use Zoom to get closer.
4. Landscape photo on a portrait screen? Choose Fit — blurred fill: the whole photo stays visible, and the empty space fills with a soft blurred copy of itself.
5. Tap Download Wallpaper, then set the saved file as your wallpaper from your gallery (two taps — the steps appear after download).

Questions, answered honestly

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser using your device's own processing. Your photo never travels to a server — ours or anyone's — and nothing about it is stored, tracked or shared. Close the tab and it's gone.

Which size should I choose?

Pick the size that matches your phone if you know it (iPhone, iPhone Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy / Pixel, or generic HD). Any of them works on any phone — your phone will crop a slightly different size to fit — but the matching size means nothing important gets cut.

Will my wallpaper look sharp?

As sharp as your original photo. If a small photo is stretched onto a big screen it can soften — no tool can invent detail that isn't there. For the crispest result, start from the original full-size photo rather than a screenshot or a compressed copy from a chat app.

Fill or Fit — what's the difference?

Fill zooms the photo until it covers the whole screen, cropping the edges — best for portrait photos. Fit shows the entire photo and fills the space above and below with a blurred version of it — best for wide landscape shots you don't want cropped.

Can this page set the wallpaper for me automatically?

No — and be suspicious of any website that claims it can. Changing a phone's wallpaper is a system permission no web page has. What we can do is the real work: the perfect size, crop and file, in one tap. You finish with the two standard taps in your gallery.

Does it cost anything?

No. Free, no watermark, no account — the same deal as every wallpaper on this site.
